Day 1 Arrival in Trier
The Roman monuments of Augusta Treverorum are a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Porta Nigra, amphitheatre and the Roman bridge, across which cars are still allowed to drive.
Day 2 Trier - Trittenheim, 40-45 km / 25-28 mi
The Moselle cycle path follows the meanders of the river through steep vineyards and charming villages. Neumagen-Drohn is considered the oldest wine village in Germany.
Day 3 Bike tour to Traben-Trarbach, approx. 40 km / 25 mi
Try the famous Bernkasteler Doctor and stroll through the old town of Bernkastel-Kues with its many colorful half-timbered houses.
Day 4 Traben-Trarbach - Cochem, 45-50 km / 28-34 mi
Today you cycle beneath famous vineyards. Worth seeing are the half-timbered houses in Enkirch, Beilstein with Metternich Castle and, to top it all off, Cochem with the Reichsburg and Endert Gate.
Day 5 Cochem - Koblenz, approx. 50 km / 31 mi
Impressive buildings line the route to the wine-growing villages of Kobern-Gondorf and Güls before you arrive in the lively university town of Koblenz. The Ehrenbreitstein fortress offers a fantastic view of the city and the Deutsches Eck.

Today you cycle along the Rhine through the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley. Loreley and many castles greet you on the way to the day's destination.
Day 7 Oberwesel/St.Goar - Mainz, approx. 60 km / 37 mi
Known and unknown wineries are on the way to the state capital and printing city of Mainz. Visit the blue church windows in St. Stephen's by Chagall or the exciting Gutenberg Museum.
